Dóra Varga graduated in 2011 from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Faculty of Silicate Design – Glass specialization. At the University of Szeged, Juhász Gyula Faculty of Education, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Drawing and Art History, she teaches stained glass and design.
Her research focuses on the reception of artworks, specifically on perception generated through the stimulation of the senses. She examines the simultaneous functioning of the sensory organs during the reception of artworks and how this affects perception. Recognizing the possibilities of sensory synchronicity, consciously applying it, and experimenting with it are central aspects of her creative practice.
